Thorin was born in Stuart, Florida, and her family moved to Morganton, Georgia in the late 1990s. After earning a business and marketing degree from UMass Boston, she spent a decade in hospitality, from fine dining on Nantucket to managing an off-grid boutique resort in Bocas del Toro, Panama, before settling in Blue Ridge for good.
Lance grew up in Mobile, Alabama, studied risk management and finance at Appalachian State, and left corporate life in Charlotte for something more hands-on. He opened Ballard's of Blue Ridge, the downtown shoe store that became a hub for the community, and found that helping people find the perfect-fitting shoe led naturally to helping them find the perfect-fitting home.
Lance leads with easy connection and energy; Thorin brings structure, strategy and a sharp eye for contracts. Together they balance each other out, and their clients get both.
